Why Not Smile?
Why not start each fresh new sunrise
With just a little smile?
For we’re only allowed to have each day
For just a little while
Whether it’s raining or sun is shining
This day belongs to you
And may squeeze your heart warmly
In a new special way, that is true
You can make such a difference
To folks with problems galore
You can truly lighten up their load
If you smile when you step out the door!
