Wide-Eyed Song Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Wide-Eyed Song

wide-eyed song
I shall sing
For new-built churches on the waters
From the sea reclaimed
We built another prison-house
We made a court with extra-new judges
We built apartments thirty levels high
And now are building streets of sick old peoples' homes.
