Wilfer The Tree Poem by Greg Boatman

Wilfer The Tree

On a hill stand I
And have always been bound
Rooted, keeping an eye
Far below on the little town

Why, I am Wilfer the Tree
And journey I not
But write and speak my poetry
And am grateful for what I've got
