A wise man told me 'time heals' just be patient
Though in my heart I know that he is right.
Still, at the moment I just want for the tears to fall
Hoping it would wash all the pain and anger away.
I had given all that I have and more
Still it was not enough.
You have a thirst that I cannot quench
Even when I pour all my soul to this cup.
I did not know that I had a debt to pay
I thought I had paid with all that I have got and more
My precious time, my love, my affection and my soul
Meant nothing to you at all.

The theme is a classic one and you have, as ever, approached it with sensitivity and awareness. The idea of tears as cleansing, healing, is one I've used myself and I love the way you have introduced it here. Thanks for this lovely piece June.
