A military wife's heart beats with pain,
Longing for her love in vain.
She hides her tears, her fears, her stress,
For her husband's sake, she must be strong, I guess.
The children of our country smile and play,
While she stays strong, day by day.
She faces anxiety, tension, and frustration too.
But still she stands, with a heart that's true.
She prays to be her stronger, to stand by his side,
To be his rock, his heroine, his pride.
She's lucky to have found her best friend and guide,
Her hero, her husband by her side.
In his absence, she finds a way
To cope with the stress, night and day.
She's a military wife, with a heart of gold,
Supporting her love, with a spirit bold.
In the silence, a question is asked,
Will fate bring us together, or forever be tasked?
