Will We Never Learn - Poem by shimon weinroth

Wars come and wars go
and hardly ever leave
in between peace comes
but shortly leaves

leave their mark
should be remembered
for ever and a day

will we never learn
war should not return

Men may come, men may go, but I go on for ever, says the stream.
Wars may come, wars may go, but stop this cruel war, says the poet.
Muscle power and money power rule the world today.
