Will You Help Me Poem by Edward McDaniel

Will You Help Me

Rating: 5.0

Where is the humanity is everyone out for self?
Why can't we all take the time to help someone else?
People are starving kids have no shoes on their feet.
Don't you have a heart don't you care Mr. and Mrs Elite?
Why do we just turn a blind eye to the suffering?
When on a global economic scale we all are struggling.
We all are caught up in this situation together.
So why not try and help each other do better.
We spend billions to send rockets into outer space.
Why can't we spend that money to save the human race?
Something is wrong with our priorities in this world.
We care more about material wealth than the starving boys and girls.
That's a human being more precious than diamonds, oil, gas, or gold.
Have we lost our humanity have we lost our souls?
That's our future doctors, lawyers, and possible world class elite.
So consider that the next time you see a person begging for money in the street.
