Willing To Chase - Poem by Hamytaf Hushes

It's been days since we last talked
I wonder if you know that I'm trembling
It seems impossible to avoid staring at the clock
And sometimes the sky looks like it's crumbling

Without you, silence seems so loud
Piercing through my skin, making my heart moan
There's like nothing else to think about
And lately my patience has been outgrown

I cry to sleep almost every night
Let my fears and dreams trickle down my face
I've been missing you, my strong amazing knight
So know that for you, I'm willing to chase
