Windows Into And Out Of Poem by Ananta Madhavan

Windows Into And Out Of

There are windows to gaze out of
And windows to peer into
Chambers, cloisters and sitting rooms
Where folks are sitting and existing,
Mainly to subsist another day.
Choose your gaze,
Stranger, spy or curious,
And choose your window;
You can also look out of the window.
Gaze at the world.
And choose your window.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wanted to make a metaphor of the window, gazing in, looking out;
subsisting, wondering.
