Kathrine Pierce

Winds Of Hope

A gleam of hope
A way to cope
To see the good
everywhere she stood
light in her heart
soon it would part
she found happiness
In all her mess
The break of dawn
A brand new song
A moment of peace
Dreams it won’t cease
It will be gone
Again tomorrow’s pawn
For now she’s alone
And without a moan
Continue to live
Maybe even forgive
A gleam of hope
Is her way to cope

katherine, you have touched such a sensitive subject here, this poem is marvelous, not only her but the entire human fraternity lives on hopes of a new brighter day and it is indeed the way to cope...hope the eternal hope...you have created good images here, the flow is smooth and grand and the meaning is deep. this is a short sweet and stimulating piece...good work..keep it up
