Wings Poem by courtney metcalf

Wings

I tend to just leap
Build my wings on the way down
I never know what I'm capable of
Until the moment comes around
I may fall at first
But I'll promise I'll fly
May not be til the end
But soon, I'll soar high
I am a girl
Full of great ambitions
To fly higher than the doves
And dodge the ammunition
