Standing on the ledge
i walk closer to the edge
i have to know
so i jump into the abyss below
alot of doubt i have cast
as im falling really fast
i reach the bottom and feel alittle bruised
i get to my feet feeling some what confused
all around its dark as night
i look ahead and see a light
its there that you stand
so i reach out and grab your hand
you pull me close and hold me tight
its then i realize everything will be all right
i was as blind as could be
its your love i couldnt see
standing in your arms i finally know
i see the love you try to show
neither one of us knowing what to do
because we never found a love that was true
we trade each other our hearts key
mine to you, and yours to me
to all the hurt and pain we say good~bye
and with it we gain wings to fly
hand in hand we rise above
and soar on the wings of love
