the dimming sun
reaching its arms of light
truth be told
winter comes
another depression sold
essence of sadness
dripping
over desert fields
where once grew green
with joy
angels smiling, kissing cheeks
on building stones of old
the people on the other side
knowingly let go
of summer, love
and happiness
no more lawn to mow.

A well articulated piece of poetry, insightful penned in poetic diction from heart with conviction. An encapsulated depiction of decadence into low ebb of life, occasioned by the unpleasant presence of depressive winter. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing Erlend.
