I am not a liberal snowflake
My heart you cannot break,
Unlike you my feelings aren't fragile
My thoughts and actions are agile.
My heart isn't bleeding
Instead my heart is interceding,
It knows the truth from all told lies
And it can unmask any disguise.
I am a staunch God fearing believer in human rights
My toughness is in tenderness in all my fights,
My strength is in the service of others
Those are my druthers.
There is nothing more formidable or fierce or daunting
Than unconditional love that is forever haunting,
In any form or in any fashion
There is not a thing more courageous than compassion.
If my belief in equity, empathy goodness and love bothers you
If name calling is all that you can do,
And if you think power over me you are succumbing
Then you should know, winter is coming.
