Winter Love Poem by Richard Stopps

Winter Love

You fill my moments,
With the warmth of your love.
The winds howl.
Snowy whalebacks drift the laneways.
Trees denuded of leaf and cloaked in snow.
Wooly sweaters? No.
A place close to the hearth? No.
Hot chocolate by the mug? No.
I long only for the warmth of your smile... alone!
