Winter Within Poem by Eva Ivanova

Winter Within

Rating: 4.8

Ash red and lifeless brown, feeble leaves fall to the ground.
Numbing chills rush down my back.
In front of me the polar smoke from my breath leads me, i cannot see the light.
I am surrounded by boisterous creatures of the night, i do not search for help, or for warmth.
I am comforted by the unknown.
I feel welcomed in my desolation.
