Wish I knew why the sky is so blue,
why the boats float so effortlessly?
Why kites fly high above,
why water turns so glassy on rainy days?

Wish I knew why birds soar above the mountains,
why people go from town to town?
Why colors seem like they are glowing,
why love transcends barriers,
and yet create them?

Wish I knew why people meet,
only to seperate in time.
Why kisses taste so divine,
especially on a day when hearts join.

Wish I knew why fortunes are made in a day,
only to be destroyed in one moment of weakness.
Wish I knew why dogs wag their tails,
when cats simply just glare?

Wish I knew why I write what I write,
when I can do better things with my time?
Wish I knew why I ask myself such questions,
when I know I can find answers if I sat in quietitude.
Wish I knew,
