I wish I knew what is going through you mind
I wish there was a way that I could somehow find.
But I am not a mind reader
I wish I knew the right things to say
And I wish I could say it the right way
But I am not a good charmer.
I know you are very upset
I know how much angry you can get.
And I try not to say another word
I wish I could say to you not to worry.
I wish I could say I am really sorry.
But you wouldn’t listen.
Whatever I say now seems so wrong.
Nothing I do is even worth a pity song.
But I still stand by you side.
I wish I could be there when you are low
I wish I could bring to you face a glow
But you have pushed me far away.
I want to say your burdens I will forever carry
And that tears will never again make your eyes blurry.
But I don’t know how to make a way
I wish you knew that when I am low and sad
It’s just the thought of you that makes me glad
It’s the reason to see another day.
I wish you knew I go thru the same thing all alone.
But not once did you I blame or at you I throw a stone
For I love you more than my own soul.
I am sorry if in your eye I am a man so worse.
I wish with my heart that me you won’t curse.
But it’s alright if you do.
But I want to say you are my sunshine and you are moonlight.
That’s the first song I sang looking into your eyes that eventful night.
You will always be so.
I wish you knew you mean the world to me
And I am searching for the right words for that to say
The right words that will touch your heart and turn it my way.
