Wish Of 'Perfection' Poem by Amber Mitchell

Wish Of 'Perfection'

I don't underdstand why everyone wishes for all forms of pain to vanish from the world to make it become perfect
If there isn't hate how would there be love?
If there isn't sadness, how would we know what true happyness feel like?
If there isn't pain how would pleasure exist?
If there wasn't anything to cause a frown how would we know when to smile?
If there are no regrets what's left to be proud of?
If we didn't know the feeling of suffer how would we know the feeling of excitement?
If there is nothing to fear what makes us look forward to things?

The world would be one blank, clueless expression smeared across the face of the earth with undiscovered emotions.
I agree that I wish the world was better but I will never wish for it to be 'perfect'. For if there were no balance between good and bad the world would be lost. But most of all the world would be numb...

Very true...excellent write.....We don't need a perfect world. If everything were to be perfect life would be so monotonous. Fahim
