Feeling a little pensive
At the end of a long
Drawn out day
Wishing for a new moon
And the energy that it brings
Preparing for the next chapter
Leaving the past behind
Deeply absorbed
In contemplation
Self preservation
The only way
Peace and healing
I pray will come
My way
Beauty and light
I hope
Restored to me
Maybe too good to be true?
But undeniably mine
Given all i have endured
This divine right
Is thine
