Wish You Were Here Poem by Monica Paris

Wish You Were Here

Rating: 5.0

The seasons are changing
and it’s times like these.

That I wish you were here
to enjoy the trees.

The flowers remind me of you.

The smell of the air brings back memories
of when you were here.

I know you’re gone
but I am not sad.

For you’re no longer in pain.

But I still wish you were here
to see the seasons change.

Very nice..reminds me of Pink Floyd's song 'Wish you were here'. Listen to it once, you'll like it. :)

Thanks. I feel the same way about my grandparents. Sometimes it's hard to enjoy these seasons when certain people aren't here with you.
