Wishes Poem by Olabode Joseph Oluwatayo

Wishes

Rating: 5.0

Only if i was that man.
whose words are trails of unknown wisdom,
or could i be that god,
full of charm, beauty and wealth,
only if you are my stars,
then i will be your sky,
if only i can stop the pains
and soothe you with relief.
Enthrone me on your regal heart,
and be that kingdom forever,
If only my wild imaginations,
could exist greatly in the vast sky.
If and only if i was...
then could have been the only...
Pleasure rides on wheels of wishes,
are as exciting as words of one's lover,
But if only you could be,
all what wishes teach,
then life may be within reach,
that words and experience may not preach.
Just greatly wish you could feel and see,
all what this poem means to me!
