Wishing Well Poem by Lingam ajji

Wishing Well

Sleepless night,
Head full of dreams.
Weary morning,
Li'l birdie screams.

Wishing a wish,
O, wishing well.
Thou art my lover,
Hard to tell.

Eyes bespoken,
Stories untold.
Heart skipped,
Beats good old.

Time beholds,
Memories made.
Time unfolds,
Memories fade.

A smile lingers,
Piercing layers-
Of selfless intentions,
Hopeless desires.

Ruthless worldliness,
Destiny's feat.
Hurtful goodbyes,
Indecisive treat.

One last embrace,
Yearning heart.
One last farewell,
Until worlds apart.

Wishing a wish,
O, wishing well.
Thou art my lover,
Hard to tell.
