With A Pure Heart Poem by Vasile Serban

With A Pure Heart

Oh, how beautiful are the spots of light on the black carpet of my heart,
For all that brightens my heart are the moments with you.

Your smiles are like edelweiss on the mountain peaks and water lilies in the lake.
The kisses and embraces you give me in the night are plasters for the wounds of my heart.

Whispered are the tender words of your lips like the murmur of the mountain spring
And they refresh me as the spring water quenches the thirst of a weary traveler.

Gentle and full of kindness is your glance when I wander
Through the labyrinth of my sorrows, and only your kiss manages to find me.

Caught in the spell of the calm and gentleness with which you welcome me into your arms
I sign with tears on the cheek of my heart unforgettable fragments,
And as a tribute to love, I let myself be carried away by the perfect wave of your body
On a journey through the universe of carnal love, with my pure heart.
