With A Torch Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

With A Torch

With a torch

Torch in hand, am in search,
Search for one with love, care,
Want to ask one question:
"Tell me why, why, o, why? "

Take my why, multiply,
By many why and why!

Why powerful is right?
Why should I have trust,
In the books, full of lie?

What the hell is Torah?
And Bible and Koran?
Are they not full of lies?

Even lie when talk right,
Keep shedding the blood,
That run, in rivers, ponds!

Jews kill for Yahweh,
Men of Lord, all around,
Muslims call their Allah…

Even worse is Hindus',
Moody of India,
Says follows the Veda!

Torch in hand, am in search,
Look for one with knowledge,
To beg him for answer,
To my simple question:
"What the hell is mankind? "

Better are animals,
Wish could be a snail,
Or giraffe, elephant,
Maybe, a tiger, whale,
Even ass or vulture,
But not a human,
Of this beast am afraid!
