'I'll burn all the memories of you with my cigarettes.'
But oh baby, won't you give me one more night?
Filled with dancing and kissing,
But you only answer with a smirk and a sigh
Tell me, is it hard to see with all those tears in your eyes?
I think you'll feel better if you got it off your chest.
' I fell for you like a child, but it's blurry after that.'
But I know from the look in your eye, your tear-stained cheek
Your motives are as clear as glass to me.
Before I go, I'll ask you one more time, 'Can I please get one kiss goodbye? '
Your lingering response - 'Aren't you coming back? '
I walked out knowing my tombstone is marked with the word
Yes.
I really like the last line 'tombstone marked with the word Yes'. It shows the struggle between the heart and the mind: The rational mind is telling you it will kill, but the heart wants to go back. Nice work.
There's always that one person who reduces us to this and it's so hard to break away, and what's harder is knowing that, even in the midst of your determination to leave, you will return at some point. You capture this so well. I really enjoyed it!

This is really good. It's kinda like how I was a few months ago.
