With Each Hit. Poem by Brittanee Warren

With Each Hit.

faded dreams soon come back to me.
I see you standing there once more beating on me.
You say it's to teach me a lession, that I shouldn't act this way.
This shall teach me to behave you scream as the belt whipped against me.

As the blood flows from my lip after each hit,
I scream I'm sorry.
You say after my beating you can forgive me.
After my beating.

With each thrust of you arm.
I jump in the fear of knowing each hit is to cause me harm.
You say you love me and this is for my own good.
As I fall to the floor you force me to stand.

This will show you how to act. You will no longer be disobeant!
MY skin red and brused from the belt,
was aching each time I took a breath.
But again you say its for the best and hit me once more.

As I look in to you eyes its like staring into a darken pit.
No warmth in your touch its like the devil himself lives inside.
You are no longer the person that I was once in love with.
You are now a evil creation.
That slowly kills me with each hit.
