When you feel down in the pit,
Remember the lap where in you sit:
Against that loving bosom you lean,
Who all your pains can heal.
Though doors seem closed
The keys are safely with Him;
Commit yourself to Him
Who can fill you upto the brim.
That dark day will soon be over
And you'll realize it was a boon.
That day you learnt to run the race
In His school of comforting grace.
Another day, He'll call you home
And in His city you'll freely roam.
When your loving Father kisses you child
You'll find your tears so mild.
