With Khayyam Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

With Khayyam

With Khayyam

What is there to be said,
To people who are deaf?

See no use showing off,
To the mass of blinds!

See many around me,
Talking and claiming,
Uselessly, for nothing!

Valuable nights and days
Are worthy treasures,
Why throw them away?

Like camel in the mill,
Are in leash, circling,
Smashing cotton seed!

Open eyes, break loose,
Time has come to remove,
The imposed rein and hood.

Under rock is your food,
You crush, prepare,
Serve bullies that abuse!

Read Khayyam and listen
To the vase of potter:
"Who to buy, who to sell? "

Sit with wine and angel,
Celebrate the moments.

Yesterday is far gone,
Future may not come,
Limited are our days,
Fill goblet, dance away.

Keep magic on the side,
Enjoy her day and night,
Extend life with red wine.
