With the divine by my side,
Wherever I am, I bury myself;
I inhale the music and light,
Hoping to carry them with me
Into the next chapter,
Into each unfolding hour,
Where I can feel nothing
But the divine presence.
With you by my side,
I stand upright and live;
I let not the dark shades envelop
My soul or lull me to sleep,
Until the sun kisses my skin,
Bringing warmth in the morning light.
I bid goodbye
To the night's creeping shadows
And take ablution
In the golden rays,
Cleansed and renewed,
To offer my Salah of devotion.
Through the day, I will offer
The Perpetual Prayer,
For I find you present,
Meeting morning to evening,
As the sun shines
In the broad daylight,
Illuminating my path.
I sing and dance in joy,
Breathing the sober air,
Its scent of earth and possibility,
Familiar and pure,
A gift from eternity,
When you created me
By your command,
And I kissed you into the ground,
Neither choice nor will;
It was absolutely your command.
Each shadow that looms,
A reminder of trials faced,
Yet here I stand,
In the light of your grace.
I embrace the struggle,
For it shapes my soul's song,
A melody of resilience
Where I truly belong.
