Within Reason Poem by Dedrick Estiltaph

Within Reason

Oh! and he jumps face first
into absinthe [proper stowing
means abscess
around the vowels],
a collection of pockets
unlike the short-pants
you went ignored.

The burned out
(reversed)
photo of the incident remains the same.
Calling it miracle would be silly,
we pull low-grade from its origin.
We leave it as an 'incident'
not mistaked for
'accident, '
which states it's probable.
We can't justify, nor trying to
would be blasphemy
we move on to better 'things, '
and things here shows
us nothing,
reveals something
our lack of treatment.

We are clueless in the matter.
A blind man waves decree
comes from gnosis,
as in diagnosis derives from truth.
In reality, truth gets
you stuporred as to pus among your friends.
They listen as life drains down to sleep.
You can't explain so they left you.
Now, with your words and your
'issue'
you can go anywhere you please.

Within reason.
