Worlds within,
Worlds without...
When all is light,
And I feel the warmth-
Heat from a higher source
All is well without.

I reach within the
Deep crater of my chest
Cavity and retrieve a diamond
Every time I gaze into
An angelic visage
As you lie in my arms.

You roam and wander
To places unknown
Away from my sight
Never far from my love
Yet too distant for my smile
Known to all in outer realms.

One day is never enough
Nor time complete
Outside my reach,
Every slight ounce of your love,
Tresses within my fingers,
A touch of your lips...

Sparks' combustion within my soul
Brings brilliance to a landscape
Without.
