Love is the web where
The heart's prey begs
To be consumed...
Eyes that draw like
A magnet, honey that scents
The air.
I only want to move closer.
She waits to leave the cavern
I wait to spring her trap-
But it's not venom she will inject into me,
It's life.
Electricity, the fuzzy warmth
Of passion
Gentle as a kiss,
Absolute as death.
I play with the string,
knocking on the door...
She knows I'm here
And I wanted her to.
So what lies behind those deep eyes
That wrap themselves around
Me, tender as a child's arms?
I intend to know.
Another tap,
The scent lingers on the air...
She needs to feed,
Desire forms my surrender.
To feel her heat
Down to my quick,
My core- to fuse
Herself into me.
And so I have possessed
Myself in the thought.
I tap again
And dive deep where I long to be
Inside her passion.
