Standing by the lake of
Wishes,
Wanting to heal this broken
Heart~
Throwing coins for each wish,
Wishing my true love will find
It's way in my heart~
I look around hoping that some
Way he will stand along side me
And mend this old lonely heart~
I wish to end my heart from tear
Stain traces~
I still remains with out love~
Growning old with know promises~
Just pains of migraines~
Trying to wish upon the wishing
Lake~
I think my grandmother said this
Would make all your wishes true~
Just stand by the lake of wishes
And throw a coin for a wish~
My brain might have remember wrong
Because I have grown little older~
My mind never settle on one thing
At a time~~
I wish for a improved mind~~
But yet of today it have not
Surface~
Poor me remain along without
Love~
Still by the lake of wishes~

Carolyn... This is a beautiful read. I am amazed how you choose a word all on its own to complete a line... and yet they are so singularly complete.. I loved this one... vote - 9/10.
