Without You Poem by Jessica Thomas

Without You

Thank you God for saving me
My life is a blessing I can see
The road I took was full of holes
But, then you helped my poor soul
I’ve found a place where I belong
I understand where life went wrong
Once again I can feel the power
You mercy and grace as my bower
The faith I felt when I was low
Is the greatest feeling I know
My evil is my biggest foe
Despite the hardships I’ve endured
My true purpose is still undeterred
Thank you God for saving me
I pray as I am on my knees
My pain and loneliness once was strong
Those days and years seemed so long
I used to scream and cry at night
I’d curse your name with all my might
You have forgiven me for all of them
Your kindness and love show me no end
Thank you God for saving me
For without you I would never be.
