Wolves Wings Poem by Mmm Davis

Wolves Wings

Rating: 0.5

The wind pored and a wolf let out her howl,
It was filled with sorrow and pain,

Thunder flashed and outlined two pares of white wings on her back,
This made the pack tense,
They had heard of this but never had they seen in,

Her eyes locked with mine “You are the chosen one…”
She flinched, her time was almost over “I am sorry…”She whispered

Suddenly I was the one howling in pain,
I flinched, bighting on my tongue, trying to not let out the pain.
My pain, her pain, and than…
My back ached, pain ripped between my shoulder blades,
I whimpered, bighting on my tongue hard enough that blood dripped down my muzzle,

Before her eyes closed she murmured “I know I choose the right wolf. Be strong, and never fear, for now you are to be the light of the pack.” Her eyes glazed over and closed
Her wings began to shred and her white feathers began to drift off…
She was disappearing into a light,
Eyes open, she smiled, flapped her new white wings and went into the light…
