Woman Poem by Allan James Saywell

Woman

woke up made my bed
washed my face
the man in the mirror smiled
said hello
cleaned teeth
with a whiter bright
covered my feet
with a leather sole
dressed myself
in wool and cotten
drove down town
to share a drink
with a beautiful girl
dressed in mink
told her
your so beautiful
there is something about you
cant quite put my finger on it
she said you never will
you dirty rotten scoundrel

I presume that then, ruined your night Allan. Thank you and hope you are loving Christmas Island
