It’s 3 o’clock in the morning
Who is keeping you awake
Messing with your mind
and drawing tears from your eyes

You gave everything that you’ve got
Loved like there is no tomorrow
Should have kept some love to yourself
To help you through nights like this

Still care after the violent episodes
Still thinks that one day he’ll change
Remove those rosy glasses
get off the romantic train
and girl, come back to reality
Let your head do the thinking
and control your emotions

There are times to love
and there are times that
You’ve got to say no

Don’t stop the love, do it right
Don’t let your conscience stray
Love with all of your heart
But don’t loose your ways
