Women in war
Is true, as I think:
- "Poets are crazy! "
-we mix days
-with midnight and between.
Am awake at three…
-am reading and writing…
-abnormal…must sleep…
Radio talks about, refugees
-Venezuelans living in Brazil
-and other countries…
She works on streets
-sells body for money
-needs it for family…
I recall my bitter memories;
-Saddam tanks, Khorramshahr
-and Iran's officer (in navy)
-remaining, defencing
-but young wife is sent out.
Life in palm she arrived in Shiraz!
-a woman with nothing but hardship,
-started to bleed.
Red stains, white skirt
-she is shy and in need.
The worst was hearing:
- "I pay you for Tampon
-if with me, you sleep! "
I have heard such cases,
-since worked with refugees!
Celebrate and laugh loud
-presidents and leaders
- (The true criminals!)
- (High at top is Trump!)

Profound poem, You are bold enough to speak the truth, the life of women did not change since time immemorial, they are treated as object for enjoyment even during the war times. Thanks for this thought provoking poem.10+++
