Won't Be Forgot Poem by Jon M. Nelson

Won't Be Forgot

Let us all take a moment to reflect,
In a moment of silence to show respect.
For all of those that are no longer here,
Do not be ashamed to shed a tear.

They left this world far too soon,
Like the sun setting way before noon.
We didn't get a chance to say goodbye,
But we'll see them someday in the heavenly sky.

They brought laughter and joy to so many folks,
With words of wisdom or quick-witted jokes.
To the friends and families, they left behind,
They'll be remembered with hearts so kind.

It's a tragedy that so many have passed,
But we'll cherish the memories and make them last.
Let us remember the joy that they brought,
Though they're gone, they won't be forgot.
