Woodpecker Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Woodpecker

Woodpecker

Lifted ball of snow
-as crystal globe,
-of magics…
- (Jam for Shah!)

Each, every particle
-or flakes of the White
-spoke…talked…
-about past, history.

"Blacks were just a part…"
-said granules to insist:
- "…look around, study
-till you learn of Panis! "

Panis meant: "the natives."

Arrived boats of Europe
-loaded with Gringos
-holding Leaves of Olive;
-messaging friendship.

As soon as got grip
-wolf removed sheep skin
-opened mouth, revealed teeth!

The ex-host, the Native
-was slaved as Panis…

The Panis was bought-sold,
-with no rights as a soul.

Panis turned to lamb, goat
-limited, and was told:
- "Walk and do as says law! "

Woodpecker nailed itself on trunk,
-balanced and hammered hard,
-knocked the wood for the worm
-with message, sent to sound:
- "Break walls to get out…"
