Wood's Of The World Poem by George Samuel

Wood's Of The World

Wood's of the world;
Soft and old.
Bearing predators arrow;
Endangering more species in a row!
Their safety burnt down;
From hilltop till they're none..

Wood's of the world;
Ancient and cold.
Chemicals polluting the air;
Devouring beauty in pairs.
That walks, that swim and fly..

Wood's of the world;
No hiding place around.
Trees in flames;
And the water warm.
Enough to make men meals

Wood's of the world;
Standing in solitary fold.
Abandon for games
To be exploited and left to shame..
