Word To World Poem by Julius Victorio

Word To World

I've been around the world, travelling the continents
Overlooking it's wonders, and looking to be content
Taking part in various customs, from Ramadan to Lent
Looking over the deprived, and watching their incontinence

From rich to poor, I find no more
Than glamorous rags, and endless chores
Of unfairness, disorder, and blood-stained floors
Even the famous envy those who are kept in the morgue

With a gazillion faiths to pick from, how do we know?
Which will keep us safe when the sun doesn't glow?
Just know to know, that there is to know
That not all thinks the right way is what you chose

And really it is easy to know
That there may be no way people will know
That something filling that void, empty and stone-cold
Until they found what I've found to show
This light that's been shone before aglow

From beginning to the end
He has always been our friend
I'm a follower of TRUTH!
Both you and I know where this is going to end
Because YOU have to decide, my friend
To accept the hand Jesus Christ offers to lend

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

The best religion is the one a person chooses for oneself and believes in.I've traveled many religious paths too and there is no religion higher than the Truth.
