Words - Poem by Atsar MusePen

Next to to you
The two intertwined into one ball of loneliness
Rolling down the unforseen path that beckons so many
Searching for the edge...or at least a hopefull
Peer...over it...
To See that it really does exist

On and On it goes
Feeble attempts at finding it
Coming to some conclusion to verify your dreams
But....they are only that

Passes you if to say to you
You mean nothing
Humbling yourself with your eyes can tell you
It is all there in front of you
Layers upon layers wet with only secrets given to those
Whom will listen for them

No words need to be exchanged
For words can mask lies
Lies can tear apart...and apart
Is not here

Look...still maybe you won't...maybe you will
Why should it be given to you?
Though it is...for everone

Interesting poem...I understand what you mean about words not needing to be exchanged...some times...words can mess up a perfectly good moment.
