Words Mean Nothing Poem by Amber Millar

Words Mean Nothing

Rating: 5.0

Words mean nothing to me anymore,
I need you to prove it,
I need you to prove that you've gotten over it,
You can say what you like,
But I can still see the burning look of anger in your eyes,
I didn't mean to hurt you, I really didn't,
I got misguided, I know,
But, come on, it's over now,
The look you give me scares me to my bones,
I can't look at you but I can't look away,
You're angry and jealous,
You're fed-up and a little upset,
You don't tell me these things though,
Words mean nothing to us anymore...

For my best friend Rose Russell, I know it's too late to turn back the clock but I don't want to lose you over this. My words mean nothing but the look in my eyes means I'm sorry.

Not only is there nothing wrong in saying 'sorry' its also a very brave thing to do. Good poem as well.
