Words To Paper Poem by Katrina Lusk

Why can't I find the words
to put down on this paper.
I picture them,
see what the poem would look like when read.
But these words...
They're just like a hurricane,
blowing straight through my head.
They come and they go,
with the snap of a finger.
These words to paper,
just don't seem to fit right.
Maybe I'm thinking too hard.
Or what if all I need,
is to just let my mind wander free.
Could that really be the key?
To just let this pencil scribble,
beautiful words to paper.
