Words Vs Value

Words vs Value

I don't want to believe….
But still, I strongly feel that
They are not ‘words, ' that matters
Or catch the readers' attraction
And admiration….
But the very mouth that speaks matters!
That can Increase or Decrease
The value of them.
‘Words of a poor man,
However true and full of wisdom,
Has little value.
But the malarkey of a rich,
Of a man with power and position
Is considered valuable
And welcomed with a loud applause…!

Do you think this is true with
The words of a male or female?

Very true, Devanshu Patel, this is a sad reality of the times we live in. You've very lucidly brought out: not words per se, but where they come from matters today. In Indic philosophy they talked about vichaar, vaani, and vartan, thought, speech (words) and action/karma. A good poem.
