Work Hard! Poem by Chai Amos

Work Hard!

Our fathers didn't err,
About what hard work's fruits are,
As it stands understandable,
Without a shred of doubt
That all's possible,
To reap good success without a measure,
And you enjoy with leisure and pleasure.

Surely the roots will be bitter,
But doubt not the fruits are sweeter,
Don't you wander because of the roots,
Get hope because of the fruits,
For success never lands on a silver platter,
But along hard work, it comes with butter.

Where's a successful man?
Trace his history as much as you can,
'He put good efforts on the way'
Shall your answer be, anyway,
And this leaves you with zero opportunity,
Work hard without any impunity!
