World Without Love Poem by Wakefield Mahon

World Without Love

Living in a world without love
I can't imagine how it'd be
In a place where hate was commonplace
With nowhere to retreat

If nobody ever cared
It was every man for himself
If charity was dead
With nowhere to turn for help

What if there was no love
If patience and kindness were gone
If there was no God above
While jealousy burned on

What if there was no love
All the good times had gone by
If there was only pain
Then we would surely die

But, we're living in a world of love
No imagination required
Just turn to God above
And feel His burning fire

For the kingdom is here
We're living it out today
Admission is open
And love is the price you pay

Living in our world of love
