Worn Out And Weary Each Night - Poem by Shalom Freedman

Worn out and weary each night
I come alive in the mornings
I am a new person
Beginning again
I have hope
And want to write
There is in me an energy
And a searching-

I die at night
And wake renewed each morning
Sleep is a mystery
That keeps me alive
Darkness is one lost world
Light the beginning of a new day.
